This October, undergraduate business students in their final year of study were joined by Russell Copley, Managing Director of Greenborough Management, for a dynamic and hands-on pitching session.
Russell brought his wealth of experience in investment readiness and business growth, and skills honed through over 20 years of supporting UK organisations to secure funding, develop strategies, and unlock their potential.
His supportive and practical approach helped students prepare to pitch for funding as part of their final assessment, giving them a real taste of what it takes to win investment in the real world.
Becky Goodman, Programme Leader for Business & Enterprise at Lincoln Bishop, said: “This session is a brilliant example of project-based learning in action, where students engage directly with industry experts and apply their knowledge in meaningful, career-relevant ways.
“Russell’s insights, drawn from his work at Greenborough, which has helped businesses access over £10.8 million in grants and create more than 2,350 jobs, added real value to the student experience.”
Studying Business at Lincoln Bishop means more than just lectures, it’s about building networks, gaining confidence, and learning from those with valuable, real life experience.
