Now in its 65th year, the Lincoln Civic Trust is dedicated to preserving buildings & monuments of historic or artistic value & places of natural beauty and this scholarship award will work towards encouraging interest in these matters.

The ‘Lincoln Civic Trust Scholarship Award’ will provide a student on the MA Social and Cultural History course at BGU with £2000 towards their tuition fees.

To be considered applicants must submit a dissertation research proposal addressing an aspect of the history or heritage of the City of Lincoln, and/or Lincolnshire.

The deadline for the receipt of proposals is 4.00 pm on Friday 14 September 2018. Successful recipients will then be chosen by a panel of academics from the History department at BGU.
