  1. 31. Dr Hannah Grenham
    Hannah has been a member of staff at Lincoln Bishop University since 2017, when she joined the Centre for Enhancement in Learning and Teaching (CELT) as a Learning Development Tutor. Since 2021, she has worked as a Senior Lecturer on the Foundation Year programme and also contributes to teaching in the History department. Prior to coming to Lincoln Bishop, Hannah earned an undergraduate MA in English and Modern History and a postgraduate MLitt in Modern History, both from the University of St Andrews. She was awarded her PhD from the University of St Andrews in 2017 for a thesis titled ‘Power to the People: Changing Attitudes to Computer Technology in the United States, 1951-1982’. Hannah is also a Certified Practitioner of Learning Development through ALDinHE and an Associate Fellow of the HEA. Hannah’s research interests are in late modern US history, particularly in the connections between society, culture, and technology. She is also interested in researching the professionalisation of Learning Development and pedagogical practices within Higher Education.     Dr Philip Yeung is Deputy Dean and Head of the School of Lifelong Learning at Lincoln Bishop University, where he provides strategic leadership for the development of lifelong, blended and online learning as part of the University’s long‑term academic and educational vision. His role focuses on shaping flexible, high‑quality provision across undergraduate, postgraduate and professional learning pathways that supports institutional priorities around access, participation and future‑focused education.With extensive experience as a teaching professional across secondary, further and higher education, Philip’s work is grounded in strong pedagogical practice and a deep understanding of how students learn in different contexts. He has played a key role in the design, validation and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate provision, with particular experience in online, blended and lifelong learning contexts.Philip has taught extensively across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including Foundation Year, Education Studies and the MA Education.   3. 33. Dr Sunny Dhillon
    Sunny works as a Senior Lecturer across the Education Studies and Theology, Ethics and Society degree courses. He conducted his doctoral research through the Philosophy department at Cardiff University, focussing on the concept of utopia through the works of Friedrich W. Nietzsche, Ernst Bloch and Theodor W. Adorno.Sunny’s research interests include Critical Theory (The Frankfurt School), Nietzsche, Jiddu Krishnamurti, Utopia and Philosophy of Education.   4. 34. Eleanor Tierney
    Eleanor joined Lincoln Bishop as a Visiting Tutor in 2019 after many years of Secondary Computing classroom teaching and supporting trainee teachers. She has been Head of Department and ICT Across the Curriculum Lead, auditing, planning and delivering staff training as well as providing additional support for Gifted, Talented and More Able students. Eleanor has taught qualified teachers Internationally with particular emphasis on Assessment for Learning and Gifted, Talented and more Able students in Computing. Eleanor is Computing Lead for PGCE Secondary Initial Teacher Education and also supports the Science department. She is also a member of the Social Justice Research and Knowledge Exchange Unit. Eleanor’s Doctoral research focuses on exploring school based mentors’ training needs in general terms, and more specifically Computing mentors, and how this translates to supporting trainee Computing teachers strengthen the interplay between theory and practice.

    Leanne teaches the BSc and MA Health and Social Care degrees at Lincoln Bishop. Leanne's background within practice was Health Visiting Practice with a specialist qualification in Community Public Health Nursing and Practice Education. She is also a registered paediatric nurse. Leanne has delivered education and training within the specialist field and public health community nursing for 10 years bringing considerable healthcare experience and Knowledge to the Health and Social Care programmes.

  8. 38. Dr Kimberley Hudspeth
    Kimberley is a Lecturer in Psychology here at Lincoln Bishop University, where she specialises in developmental psychology; the study of how behaviour changes throughout our lives. She leads on a range of modules that explore the many dimensions of human behaviour, including:Lifespan Psychology – where we explore development from before birth to old age (fun fact: did you know babies can remember sounds they heard before they were born?!)Evolutionary Psychology – where we will consider how our minds may have been shaped by our evolution.Psychology in Organisations – where we will apply psychological principles to workplace behaviour and dynamics.Research Methods – where I guide students through the design and analysis of psychological experiments (and how to write up a report!)

    Before joining Lincoln Bishop Emma had been a Primary school teacher for over twenty years. She worked in a number of settings, both rural and city based and in every year group from Foundation Stage to Year Six. She still maintains a teaching role within school, allowing her the opportunity to make links to current practice for training teachers. Emma has worked with trainee teachers and ECTs (NQTs) for many years as well as training and supporting the mentors with whom they work. Whilst working in schools Emma has led in most areas of the curriculum, but her main interest lies in Reading. She is particularly interested in text choice and how all pupils can be engaged to read through a curriculum which prioritises their love of reading. Emma is currently studying for the Children's Literature and Literacies Masters, here at Lincoln Bishop and has found the modules exploring the reflections of the child within a text both fascinating and relevant for today's classroom.
  10. 40. Dr Abimbola Thompson
    Dr Abimbola (Bola) Thompson is a Senior Lecturer in Business at Lincoln Bishop University. Before joining Lincoln Bishop, Bola worked in various capacities at various institutions including Coventry University Scarborough, Cambridge Education Group - OnCampus Hull, and University of Hull. Bola began her professional journey as an assistant auditor with Akintola Williams Deloitte and Touche, upon graduation in 2002. While practising as an auditor, Bola developed a keen interest in how financial practices influence broader economic systems. Bola received her MSc in Business Economics and PhD in Economics from the University of Hull, in 2005 and 2013, respectively. The PhD research topic was on “Financial development, FDI and Economic growth: Evidence from developing countries”. Bola has worked in various roles in higher education from foundation level to postgraduate studies; this includes tutoring, lecturing, module lead, and course content developer for master’s foundation postgraduate studies. Bola’s research and learning interests include macroeconomics, international trade, human capital and economic development, Foreign direct investments (FDI) and financial development. Her contributions to the academic community are significant as she serves as an ad hoc reviewer for the Journal of International Trade & Economic Development. Bola is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an active member of several prestigious organisations, including the British Academy of Management (BAM), the Chinese Economic Association (UK &EU), the World Economics Association (WEA) and the Academy of African Business and Development (AABD).
