Exhibitors included: EPOC (Early Prevention of Cancer), Travelteer, YMCA, Home-Start Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire Police Volunteering, Voluntary Centre Services, and Bransby Horses.

Cassie Rainey, BG Futures Administrator, discussed the importance of the Volunteering Fair:

"The Volunteering Fair is important in showcasing the fantastic volunteering opportunities out there to our students. Through the Fair we aim to highlight these opportunities as a means of enhancing our students’ employability, providing the opportunity to gain real life professional experience, and encouraging a mind-set which is committed to giving back to the community."

The fair also offered those attending the chance to learn about the BG Futures ‘Volunteering Award’. The award accredits the volunteering hours undertaken by learners at BGU and also offers gives student volunteers the chance to win £250*.
