A Theology graduate from Durham University; Chief Constable Cunningham spent three years as an HM Inspector of Constabulary and before that he was Chief Constable of Staffordshire Police. In 2013 he was awarded the Queen’s Police Medal in the New Year’s honours list and he was awarded an honorary doctorate from Staffordshire University for his significant contribution to policing.

The lecture, which will discuss Policing and Religion in 21st Century Britain, takes place on Wednesday 10 October at 4 pm in the Robert Hardy Building on the BGU campus. It is open to the public and entry is free but space is limited so the Events Team highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
