The shortlist for icelolly.com's Holiday Heroes 2015 has been announced today, following public nominations and a vote by a panel of judges.

Zoe Watkin-Drury, an Adolescent Mental Health Activities Coordinator and Nursing Assistant, has made the final 10 in the holiday price comparison website's inaugural competition, which aims to celebrate individuals who have made a difference in their community.

The 24 year-old was nominated by her mum Tampson Watkin-Drury. After being born with half a heart, Zoe has been dependent on insulin ever since and is prone to kidney infections and bone displacement but she has never let that affect her outlook on life. Having recently graduated from BGU, Zoe is now drawing on her own experiences of social and health issues to help teenagers going through similar situations.

If crowned the ultimate holiday hero Zoe will win a holiday to Majorca for herself and her family courtesy of icelolly.com.

Zoe said, "For the first time in my life I am genuinely speechless. If I won the holiday it would be amazing. Nothing could ever repay my parents for everything they have sacrificed over the years, but the holiday would be a fantastic opportunity to be able to show them how much they really mean to me and just how grateful I really am!"

Voting closes on Friday 11th December, with the winner set to be revealed on Wednesday 16th December.
