After placing in the Top 10 for Student Satisfaction in Psychology in the Complete University Guide 2027, we’re delighted to share that all Psychology programmes at Lincoln Bishop have successfully gained reaccreditation by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
Accreditation through partnership and collaboration is the process by which the BPS works with education providers to ensure quality standards in education and training are met. All programmes that are accredited by the society have met rigorous criteria.
With a single honours course, as well as several joint honours including Business, Counselling and Education Studies, Lincoln Bishop students have the opportunity to combine Psychology with another area of interest and engage with a range of modules over two subject areas.
We’re excited to share that our newly launched BA (Hons) Psychology and Criminology programme has also received BPS accreditation and is due to enrol its first cohort of students from September 2026.
Thomas Dunn, Programme Leader for Psychology at Lincoln Bishop, said: "We are delighted that our Psychology programmes have successfully retained British Psychological Society accreditation.
“The visiting panel recognised the exceptional commitment of our team to supporting students, highlighting the approachable, engaging and supportive culture that has become a defining feature of Psychology at Lincoln Bishop University."
Earlier this year, we were delighted to announce that Lincoln Bishop was ranked 1st for Student Satisfaction in the UK, and in the Top 10 for Student Satisfaction in Psychology in the Complete University Guide (CUG) 2027.
Published in June 2026, the CUG publishes independent and clear university league tables and rankings, providing students with important information for their university research.
