We are delighted to share that Lincoln Bishop University has been selected amongst 60 UK Universities to deliver modular courses, as part of the new Lifelong Learning Entitlement (LLE) programme from January 2027.
These modules will allow learners to study individual units rather than full degrees, supporting more flexible ways to upskill and retrain throughout their careers.
The LLE represents a significant improvement of post‑18 education funding, giving learners access to a loan entitlement equivalent to four years of study that can be used across modules or full qualifications.
Philip Yeung, Deputy Dean and Head of the School of Lifelong Learning, said: “The Lifelong Learning Entitlement offers a real opportunity to create more flexible routes into learning at different stages.
“Our focus is on developing a flexible, high-quality modular offer that helps people build skills, progress in work, and engage in learning over time across Lincolnshire and beyond.”
Initially, the University will be focusing on Health and Social Care to support skills development locally, nationally and internationally.
Our Strategy 2030 focuses on inspiring opportunities via an agile and progressive set of courses.
