Leading the way: No.1 in the UK for Teaching, Assessment & Learning Opportunities (National Student Survey 2025)

Following the success of last year’s Funders Fair, Lincoln Bishop University is delighted to be hosting a second collaborative event, on Thursday 6th November. 


The event is a collaboration between the Greater Lincolnshire Social Economy Academy and Lincolnshire Community & Voluntary Partnership (LCVP) - a joint partnership comprising of two of Lincolnshire’s largest charity organisations. Together, their work supports the voluntary and community sector in the county, helping people to achieve their personal and organisational goals, creating partnerships and building strong communities. 

The event will comprise of a morning session, from 10am to 12pm and an afternoon session from 1pm to 3pm, allowing attendees to spend quality time with the funders.

Kay Purle, LORIC and Knowledge Transfers Partnerships Manager at Lincoln Bishop said: “We are delighted to be partnering with the LCVP for the second year in a row, to bring the Funders Fair 2025 to the University campus. 

“If you are involved in a voluntary or community group, a registered charity, or social enterprise then this event is for you! Come and talk to representatives from national and local funders about your activities and project ideas.”

Confirmed funders include The National Lottery, Heritage Lottery, The Key Fund, Lincolnshire Community Foundation, Lincolnshire Coop, Easyfundraising, Business Lincolnshire, Children in Need and Innovate UK Business Connect. 

Jody Raggo, Community and Volunteering Officer at Voluntary Centre Services said: “The Lincoln Funding Fair is a great opportunity for local community groups, registered charities and Community Interest Companies (CICs) to connect with local and national funders, gain practical advice and explore new avenues for financial support. 

“The event will help empower groups with the tools and knowledge they need to turn their great ideas into impactful projects.”
