About the Library
Our Library, located in The Hub, is a truly communal, inclusive space used by students across all programmes. The Library:
- offers a wide variety of print and electronic resources to support your studies, and the search tools to discover them;
- provides lots of opportunities to get expert help and advice when you need it;
- maintains access to study spaces and related equipment;
- helps to promote and develop information literacy skills;
- leads on copyright compliance;
- supports reading list provision;
- administers the University’s research repository.
The Library is promoted through our comprehensive LibGuides site, and reading for pleasure is actively encouraged. Close ties are maintained with the student body via the Students’ Union and student reps.
