FdA Early Childhood Education
Have you ever thought about working towards a degree, but decided against it as you are already in employment or volunteering and don’t want to give that up? Our FdA Early Childhood Education course is designed for those working or volunteering with children 0-8 years in the voluntary, private and independent early years sector or a foundation unit in a school. This course is also for nannies, child minders and those working in Children’s Centres with families of young children. -
Education in Practice
Are you ready to take the next step in your educational journey? The BA (Hons) Education in Practice programme is the perfect opportunity for individuals who have already completed Lincoln Bishop's Foundation Degree Education in Practice, as well as those with similar qualifications from Lincoln Bishop and other institutions. This programme allows you to work or volunteer for a minimum of two days per week in an education setting while working towards a Bachelor's Degree. -

Sociology and Sport
The BA (Hons) Sociology and Sport joint programme explores the complexities of the development of sport and performance. Its focus is on developing knowledge and understanding of sport, and physical education in its broader sociocultural context. You will be introduced to a range of central, yet diverse, theoretical approaches to the study of society that have been and are still developing within Sociology. The course will provide a critical and reflexive understanding of modern and contemporary social and sociological theories. The degree will explore research issues and debates surrounding notions of policy, inclusion, deviance, equity and identity in relation to sports coaching and physical education.
