Start Your Future at the UK’s No.1 for Teaching Quality (NSS 2025) - Apply for September 2026

Lincoln Bishop University is delighted to announce they been shortlisted for Career Prospects at the WhatUni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs) 2026.

Now in its 14th year, the WUSCAs are the largest annual awards in relation to higher education institutions in the UK, where the nominations and awards are decided exclusively by students.

With our integrated student support service, The Hub, students and graduates of the University can benefit from a variety of support available including expert guidance, workshops, careers fairs and a wide network of employers – all in support of their career prospects.

Employability is embedded into every course at the University through the Graduate Attributes Award - helping students to develop academic confidence, digital fluency, global awareness and the personal skills valued by employers.

Lincoln Bishop University Vice Chancellor, Andrew Gower, said: “Being shortlisted for the WhatUni Student Choice Awards in the Career Prospects category is a powerful endorsement of the way we prepare our students for life after university. I would like to thank the staff team, and particularly my colleagues in The Hub, for all the high-quality support services available for our students.”

This year, over 42,000 reviews were submitted to WhatUni by students across 96 universities. The data from the reviews was then analysed to reveal the shortlist, before the winners are due to be announced at an award ceremony in May 2026.

Claire Thomson, Executive Dean of Teaching, Learning and Student Success, said: "At Lincoln Bishop, the Career Readiness team plays a vital role within The Hub, offering dedicated support to both in‑person and online learners. Our mission is to help students strengthen their academic and professional skills and prepare them for success in the world of work.

“We are delighted that the University has been recognised for its commitment to student support and shortlisted for this award."
