We’re proud to share that Bishop Grosseteste University has played a key role in expanding vital mental health support in Lincoln.

June marked the successful launch of ANDYSMANCLUB’s second venue in the city, at our Ermine Library and Community Hub.

The opening night was a powerful testament to the need for safe, supportive spaces for men to talk. An incredible 21 new attendees walked through our doors, ready to connect, share, and support one another.

East of England Regional Lead for ANDYSMANCLUB, Sean Gill, said: “The first night was a huge success, the lads loved the venue and were all local to the area.”

This milestone not only highlights the growing impact of ANDYSMANCLUB’s mission but also reinforces the Ermine Library and Community Hubs role as a cornerstone for inclusion and community engagement.

The University’s Head of Social Purpose, Sarah Moseley, added: “We’re honoured to be part of this journey and look forward to seeing the positive ripple effects this new venue will bring.

“Working in partnership with ANDYSMANCLUB enables us to extend our reach and underscores BGU’s commitment to social purpose projects that make a positive impact on the communities we serve.”
